Parent Tips
Support and Involvement
Research shows that children do a better job in school when parents are supportive and involved. Parents in Wisconsin have a long tradition of being involved in the schools. That's one of the main reasons Wisconsin students consistently score near the top nationally on standardized tests.
Community support - from business partnerships to citizen volunteers - is critically important as well. Great schools and great communities work hand-in-hand.
This area of our ECAE’s web page is dedicated to parental and community involvement in schools. Please e-mail Ron Martin (martinr@weac.org) and pass along any suggestions for information or services you would like to see added to this site.
