ECAE is a member driven organization that relies on the talents
and time of its membership to accomplish the necessary functions throughout
the year. In addition to the dedicated core of ECAE Building Reps.,
the ECAE officers are elected to manage the operations of the Association.
Our officers for the 2006-2007 school year are:
President: Jo Burke
is on a three year release to serve as president out of the ECAE
office. Jo is responsible for the coordination of the ECAE programs
as well as responding to member inquiries regarding insurance, contract

First Vice
President for Negotiations: Gretchen Beckstrom is a
health teacher at Northstar Middle School. For questions regarding
planning and implementation of contract negotiations, call Gretchen at

Second Vice
President for Instructional and Professional Development: Ron
Martin is a social studies teacher at South Middle School. Ron
is responsible for various professional programs related to staff
development, mentoring and curriculum development. Ron can be reached at

Third
Vice President for Public Relations: Kathy Peterson is an English
as a second language teacher at Sherman Elementary. Kathy is responsible
for the association's internal and external public relations programs
and activities which include scholarships and major social events.

Political Action:
Ken Sullivan is a teacher at DeLong Middle School. Ken is responsible for the planning and coordination
of various local, state and national political activities on behalf

Recording
Secretary: Lynn Verdon is a teacher at North High School.
She is responsible for the recording and distribution of minutes
of the various meetings as well as the collection of records and
correspondence for the Association. Lynn can be reached at

Treasurer:
Phil Hurlburt
is a seventh grade teacher at South Middle School. Phil is responsible
for the Association's financial transactions and records as well
as coordinating the membership duties and records with the local,
state, and national organizations. Phil can be reached at

The Level Representatives for Elementary, Middle and High
School are responsible for the issues and activities related to
their grade level and represent the interests of their respective
members

Representative: Chris Hambuch-Boyle is an early childhood special
education pre-k speech and language pathologist at Sherman Elementary.
